22 октября 2023 года, в Неделю 20-ю по Пятидесятнице, памяти святых отцов VII Вселенского Собора и апостола Иакова Алфееева, Патриарший Экзарх Юго-Восточной Азии, митрополит Сингапурский и Юго-Восточно-Азиатский Сергий, временно управляющий Таиландской епархией, возглавил Божественную Литургию в Свято-Николаевском кафедральном соборе в г. Бангкоке.
Его Высокопреосвященству сослужили: епископ Джакартский Питирим, викарий Сингапурской епархии; архимандрит Олег (Черепанин), секретарь Таиландской епархии; иеромонах Паисий (Ипате), благочинный Свято-Николаевского кафедрального собора г. Бангкока; иеромонах Александр (Ващенко), настоятель храма Святых Царственных Страстотерпцев в г. Хуахине; иеромонах Михей (Пхиасаявонг), клирик Свято-Николаевского собора в Бангкоке.
За Божественной Литургией митрополит Сергий совершил хиротонию клирика собора диакона Вадима Читтапхона в сан пресвитера.
По окончании богослужения архипастырь поздравил всех с праздником и сказал напутственные слова новому священнику Таиландской епархии иерею Вадиму.
Радостный воскресный день продолжился в теплой дружеской обстановке за трапезой.
The Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia performed а priestly ordination of a clergyman of the Diocese of Thailand
On October 22, 2023, on the 20th Sunday after Pentecost, commemoration of the holy fathers of the 7th Ecumenical Council, the Patriarchal Exarch of Southeast Asia, Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, temporary administrator of the Diocese of Thailand, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Cathedral in Bangkok.
Con-celebrating with His Eminence were: H.G. Bishop Pitirim of Jakarta, Vicar of the Diocese of Singapore; Archimandrite Oleg Cherepanin, Secretary of the Diocese of Thailand; Hieromonk Paisiy Ipate, dean of St. Nicholas Cathedral in Bangkok; Hieromonk Alexander Vashchenko, rector of the Holy Royal Martyrs church in Hua Hin; Hieromonk Micah Phiaxayavong, cleric of St. Nicholas Cathedral in Bangkok.
During the Divine Liturgy, Metropolitan Sergiy performed the ordination of the cathedral clergyman, deacon Vadim Chittaphon, to the rank of presbyter. At the end of the service, the archpastor gave a sermon and a guiding word for the new priest of the diocese. The joyful Sunday afternoon continued in a warm, friendly atmosphere over the meal.
