14 декабря 2025 года, в Свято-Николаевском кафедральном соборе г. Бангкока (Королевство Таиланд) прошел вечер памяти Её Величества Королевы-матери Сирикит.

На мероприятии присутствовали Патриарший Экзарх Юго-Восточной Азии, митрополит Сингапурский и Юго-Восточно-Азиатский Сергий, временно управляющий Таиландской епархией, Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол Российской Федерации в Королевстве Таиланд Е.Ю. Томихин, представители дипломатического корпуса, сотрудники государственных ведомств, общественных организаций, члены аристократических семей Таиланда, архимандрит Олег (Черепанин), секретарь Таиландской епархии, настоятель Свято-Николаевского собора, и духовенство собора.

В начале мероприятия собравшиеся почтили память Её Величества Королевы‑матери Сирикит, выразив глубокое уважение к её личности и наследию.

В ходе вечера памяти Московский Синодальный хор исполнил духовные произведения выдающихся русских композиторов XIX–XX веков. Для хора это стало первым в его истории выступлением в Юго‑Восточной Азии.

Вечер памяти ознаменовал завершение Дней духовной культуры России в Таиланде — масштабного проекта, реализованного при поддержке Министерства культуры Российской Федерации, Министерства иностранных дел Российской Федерации и Русской Православной Церкви. Организатором выступил АНО «Русские сезоны».

On December 14, 2025, a memorial evening dedicated to the memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother was held at St. Nicholas Cathedral in Bangkok.

The event was attended by His Eminence Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and Southeast Asia, Patriarchal Exarch for Southeast Asia and temporary administrator of the Diocese of Thailand; His Excellency Evgeny Yuryevich Tomikhin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand; representatives of the diplomatic corps, government agencies, and public organizations; members of Thai aristocratic families; as well as Archimandrite Oleg (Cherepanin), Secretary of the Diocese of Thailand and Rector of St. Nicholas Cathedral, together with the cathedral clergy.

At the opening of the evening, the assembled guests honored the memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, expressing profound respect for her life, service, and enduring legacy.

The memorial program featured a performance by the Moscow Synodal Choir, which presented sacred works by outstanding Russian composers of the 19th and 20th centuries. This concert marked the choir’s first-ever performance in Southeast Asia.

The memorial evening concluded the Days of Russian Spiritual Culture in Thailand—a large-scale cultural and spiritual initiative supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and the Russian Orthodox Church. The project was organized by the Russian Seasons organization.
