В связи с сильным наводнением в провинции Ратчабури и эвакуацией населения из пострадавших районов, Фонд Православной Церкви в Таиланде принял решение оказать необходимую помощь людям, оказавшимся в зоне стихийного бедствия.
По благословению архимандрита Олега (Черепанина) помещения, расположенные на территории Успенского монастыря в провинции Ратчабури, могут быть использованы для временного размещения эвакуированных жителей. В случае крайней необходимости для предоставления временного крова пострадавшим может быть также использован монастырский храм.
Предусмотрена организация питания, обеспечение питьевой водой и предметами первой необходимости. Духовенству, сотрудникам, прихожанам и добровольцам предложено по мере своих возможностей принять участие в оказании помощи нуждающимся.
Особое внимание будет уделено взаимодействию с местными органами власти и спасательными службами. Представителям Церкви поручено оказывать им всемерное содействие в проведении эвакуационных и гуманитарных мероприятий.
Архимандрит Олег призвал духовенство и верующих проявить христианское милосердие и деятельную заботу о людях, оказавшихся в бедственном положении, а также возносить молитвы о пострадавших, спасателях и волонтёрах.
Orthodox Church in Thailand to Assist Those Affected by Flooding in Ratchaburi Province
In response to severe flooding in Ratchaburi Province and the evacuation of residents from affected areas, the Orthodox Christian Church in Thailand Foundation has decided to provide assistance to those impacted by the natural disaster.
With the blessing of Archimandrite Oleg (Cherepanin), facilities on the grounds of the Dormition Monastery in Ratchaburi Province may be used to provide temporary accommodation for evacuees. In cases of urgent necessity, the monastery church may also be made available as temporary shelter for those affected.
Arrangements will also be made to provide hot meals, drinking water, and essential supplies. Clergy, staff, parishioners, and volunteers have been encouraged to assist those in need according to their abilities.
Particular attention will be given to cooperation with local authorities and emergency services. Representatives of the Orthodox Church have been instructed to provide all possible assistance in evacuation, relief, and humanitarian efforts in the affected areas.
Archimandrite Oleg called upon the clergy and faithful to show Christian compassion and practical care for those facing hardship, and to offer their prayers for all those affected, as well as for the rescue workers and volunteers engaged in relief efforts.
РАСПОРЯЖЕНИЕ
Фонд Православной Церкви в Таиланде совместно с секретарем Таиландской епархии, архимандритом Олегом (Черепаниным), рассмотрел ситуацию, сложившуюся в провинции Ратчабури, где в связи с сильным наводнением введён режим чрезвычайного положения и объявлена экстренная эвакуация населения из затопленных районов.
Призывая Божие благословение и руководствуясь возложенными на нас обязанностями, а также христианским долгом милосердия и заботы о ближних, предписываем оказать всё возможное содействие и помощь людям, пострадавшим в результате стихийного бедствия.
В целях организации гуманитарной помощи определить следующий порядок действий:
1. Предоставление временного крова
Благословляется предоставить пострадавшим жителям временное размещение в жилых помещениях, находящихся на территории монастыря. В случае крайней необходимости допускается использование монастырского храма для временного размещения эвакуированных лиц.
2. Обеспечение питанием и предметами первой необходимости
Организовать приготовление и раздачу пострадавшим горячей пищи, обеспечение питьевой водой, а также необходимыми предметами первой необходимости.
3. Взаимодействие с государственными органами и спасательными службами
Оказывать всемерное содействие местным органам государственной власти, спасательным службам и иным уполномоченным организациям в проведении эвакуационных и гуманитарных мероприятий, направленных на оказание помощи пострадавшим и спасение людей.
Призываем духовенство, сотрудников, прихожан и добровольцев по мере своих сил принять участие в оказании помощи нуждающимся, проявляя христианское милосердие, благоразумие и строго соблюдая указания государственных органов и спасательных служб.
Молимся о здравии и укреплении сил спасателей, волонтёров и всех пострадавших. Да подаст Господь Свою помощь и укрепит всех в благополучном и безопасном преодолении этого тяжёлого испытания.

DIRECTIVE
The Orthodox Christian Church in Thailand Foundation, together with the Secretary of the Diocese of Thailand Archimandrite Oleg (Cherepanin), has reviewed the situation that has developed in Ratchaburi Province, where, due to severe flooding, a state of emergency has been declared and the emergency evacuation of residents from flooded areas has been ordered.
Invoking God’s blessing and guided by the responsibilities entrusted to us, as well as by our Christian duty of mercy and care for our neighbors, we hereby direct that all possible assistance and support be provided to those affected by this natural disaster.
For the purpose of organizing humanitarian assistance, the following measures are to be implemented:
1. Provision of Temporary Shelter
With our blessing, temporary accommodation is to be provided to affected residents in the residential facilities located on the monastery grounds. In cases of urgent necessity, the monastery church may also be used for the temporary shelter of evacuees.
2. Provision of Food and Essential Supplies
Hot meals are to be prepared and distributed to those affected, together with drinking water and other essential supplies necessary to meet their immediate needs.
3. Cooperation with Government Authorities and Emergency Services
All possible assistance is to be provided to the local authorities, emergency and rescue services, and other authorized organizations in carrying out evacuation and humanitarian relief efforts aimed at assisting those affected and protecting human life.
We call upon the clergy, staff, parishioners, and volunteers, according to their abilities, to take part in assisting those in need, showing Christian compassion and prudence, and strictly following the instructions of the government authorities and emergency services.
We pray for the health and strengthening of all rescue workers, volunteers, and those affected by the disaster.
May the Lord grant His help and strengthen all in overcoming this difficult trial safely and successfully.
