28 августа 2026 года, в праздник Успения Пресвятой Владычицы нашей Богородицы и Приснодевы Марии, в Свято-Успенском монастыре в провинции Ратчабури состоялись торжественные богослужения по случаю престольного праздника обители.

В этот день в монастырь прибыла большая часть священнослужителей Таиландской епархии, а также многочисленные паломники из православных приходов, расположенных в разных регионах Королевства Таиланд. Для многих верующих ежегодное паломничество в Ратчабури в день Успения Божией Матери стало доброй традицией и возможностью соборно разделить радость престольного праздника единственной православной монашеской обители в стране.

По окончании богослужения духовенство, паломники и гости обители разделили праздничную трапезу. Прибывшие также имели возможность поклониться святыням монастыря, посетить расположенное на его территории православное кладбище и познакомиться с жизнью обители.

В праздновании приняли участие и представители других христианских конфессий, прибывшие в монастырь, чтобы познакомиться с жизнью обители и разделить с православной общиной радость праздника.

On August 28, 2026, the Feast of the Dormition of Our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, solemn divine services were celebrated at the Dormition Monastery in Ratchaburi Province on the occasion of the monastery’s patronal feast.

On this day, the majority of the clergy of the Diocese of Thailand gathered at the monastery, together with numerous pilgrims from Orthodox parishes across the Kingdom of Thailand. For many of the faithful, the annual pilgrimage to Ratchaburi on the Feast of the Dormition has become a cherished tradition and an opportunity to come together in prayer and share the joy of the patronal feast of the country’s only Orthodox monastery.

Following the divine services, the clergy, pilgrims, and guests shared an agape meal. Those present also had the opportunity to venerate the monastery’s holy relics, visit the Orthodox cemetery located on its grounds, and learn more about the life of the monastic community.

Representatives of other Christian denominations also took part in the celebration, visiting the monastery to learn more about its life and to share with the Orthodox community the joy of the feast.
